David is best known for his extensive theatre work and regularly composes for the National Theatre. He studied music at Trinity College of Music before beginning his career as a Composer, Lyricist, Arranger, Orchestrator and MD.

His work at the National Theatre includes productions of My Country, Table and the feature film London Road.

 

David has written music and lyrics for The Friendship of Town Mouse & Country Mouse, Pinocchio, The Great Wall (Singapore) and So, This Then Is Life (59E59, New York).

 

David was recently awarded a Drama Desk Award as a director for his piece Conversations with Coward.
